In addition, the grommet can also be used as a plug to close off holes in the metal sheets if the exact exit point of the cable is not known in advance. The diaphragm bottom type 1 gives the grommet a better visual appearance than the grommet with the central diaphragm. TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer with excellent properties. It is similar to rubber, but is generally used instead of PVC, which is softer, more elastic and has a higher resistance to low and high temperatures. TPE grommets have very good resistance to low and high temperatures, water, ozone, atmospheric agents, acids, aqueous salt solutions, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents and detergents. Our TPE grommets have good resistance to ketones, mineral oils and petrols, and very good resistance to ageing. They have extreme flexibility and elasticity and good electrical properties.
